Unfortunatly I'm still kept away from this project. It's diseapointing because 70% of the works
if done. It's not very complex to it demand a lot of time which i don't have right know.
I continue the file format page to publish everything usefull for anyone interrested.
If anyone want to help or continue the work he is welcome.
Here is a new beta version but it don't include new features.

To get intermediate lap time, we have to decide where to place the checkpoints on the track.
Here are the checkpoints I propose.

November 16th, 1998 : Welcome the the GPL replay editor page !
This projet is the development of a shareware to edit the GPL replay files.
The editor will include the following main features :

    - Standard Edit         Truncate, copy, cut, paste

    - Special Edit           Remove cars
                                    Automatic action replay
                                    Pack/Unpack (decrease the frame rate)

    - Times reports        Lap times
                                    Intermediate times
                                    (standard  checkpoint and user's checkpoint)

    - Merged replays     Make one replays from several
This is a unique way to compare two of yours
laps or two drivers style. For example, take replay
of a fastlap and merge it with your fastest lap.
You will see the two car on the track at the same
time and see why and where you are faster or slower.

    - Telemetry              and LP file.
There are a lot more informations in the GPL
replays than any other simulator replay. . .
                                    Gear / Altitude / Rpm / Pitch /
Roll / Wheel dir. / Suspensions

If you have any comment, any idea, I'll be glad to read you.
Denis Garese.
